We are working with a leading global Real Estate Investment Manager to hire a Senior Associate for their Housing Team in Milan. This is an exciting hands-on role, focusing on the new real estate development projects, as well as execution of new investment opportunities and asset management across residential, student accomodation and mixed-use developments sectors.
Responsibilities:
Development Management
- Project development management, including third-party relationship management
- Ensuring project alignment with investment objectives, timelines and budgets
- Construction progress monitoring and quality control
Investment
- Sourcing, underwriting and execution of new housing investment opportunities
- Preparation of financial models and sensitivity analyses
- Post-acquisition asset management, performance monitoring and capex management
Requirements:
- Currently sitting as a Senior Associate (or equivalent) within an asset management, development or investment team of a highly-regarded real estate fund
- Proven experience in real estate development, investment, asset management processes
- Extensive background and track record in the housing sector, including student accommodation, residential and mixed-use properties
- Strong technical background in financial modelling
- Familiarity with planning regulations, construction processes, and risk management
- Knowledge of English and Italian languages
