Procurement Coordinator at Blue Wireless
Based on our office in Amsterdam, you are responsible for assisting procurement activities across the Europe region, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, maintaining procurement records, reviewing bills and supporting day-to-day operations. You should have excellent organizational skills, pay great attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
So, what will be on your plate? (key responsibilities)
Procurement Processes
- Coordinate procurement activities, including the preparation of purchase orders and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
- Manage and update the procurement database, including supplier information and procurement records.
Supplier Management
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain positive relationships to ensure reliable and continuous supply.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement processes or supplier performance.
Cost Management
- Monitor and analyse procurement costs to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Assist in the preparation of cost reports and budgets.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit regular procurement reports to your Procurement Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
If you-
- Have a bachelors degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related field
- Have a strong organizational and time management skills
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Are able to work independently and as part of a team
- Are detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Have a strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively
