KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Teaches history and geography in the Bilingual Maturit Suisse section
- Leverages a variety of teaching approaches to deliver the curriculum, including ICT integration
- Acts as a learning coach by setting objectives that motivate and challenge students
- Adapts teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, whether highly able or with special educational needs
- Communicates regularly and effectively with parents about their childrens achievements and learning
- Provides students with regular and constructive feedback, both orally and through accurate grading
PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES
- Masters degree in history or geography
- Teaching qualification (HEP, PGCE or equivalent) at graduate level or above
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least five years experience, ideally in an international school environment
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility and team spirit
- English mother tongue and working knowledge of French
- Clean criminal records
- Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
