We are seeking an experienced commercial leader with a strong background in sales and customer solutions, ideally from large international companies in the energy sector or related industries as well as B2B and B2C environments where customer experience and sales performance are key. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large teams, driving transformation and developing products and sales channels, combined with strong strategic, analytical and relationship-building skills.
Job Description
- Lead the design and execution of business strategies across Commercial Solutions, covering a broad portfolio of energy products
- Anticipate market challenges and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
- Define and optimize the organizational structure, processes and governance within the business area
- Collaborate closely with the Management Board on budgeting and financial oversight
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Management Board, customers, business partners and regulatory bodies
- Develop and execute stakeholder communication and engagement strategies at all organizational levels
- Take ownership of annual and long-term business planning, setting KPIs, budgeting and ensuring sales performance
- Monitor business results and initiate corrective actions as needed
- Oversee the development of innovative energy products and solutions
- Drive the digitalization of sales channels and implement an effective omnichannel strategy
- Enhance customer experience through continuous improvement of processes and services
- Foster a high-performance, innovative organizational culture supporting team development and mentorship
- Lead change management initiatives and drive business transformation
- Represent the company in front of clients, investors, partners and at industry conferences and events
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large sales and customer solutions operations within an international organization, preferably in the energy sector or in other dynamic industries (such as telecommunications, banking, insurance, e-commerce or fintech)
- Good understanding of the energy market and emerging trends in renewable energy, e-mobility, and energy trading as nice to have
- Experience in managing change and driving organizational transformation
- Experience in leading transformation projects within large organizations is a plus
- Strong leadership and strategic skills, with the ability to build a clear vision and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both internally and with external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset and results-oriented approach, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage
