As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will establish and own the ecosystem data target picture, ensuring a scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture across the enterprise. You will drive its implementation, aligning with business and IT strategies, and enabling data-driven decision-making for financial services clients.
At BEC, we prefer frequent office collaboration but also offer the flexibility to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Drive the adoption of Data Vault best practices to enable a modern, scalable data ecosystem.
Establish and enforce the design patterns driven by data security, privacy regulations and compliance.
Solution Design & Implementation:
Together with Data platform domain architect, lead the design and integration of data platforms, pipelines, and storage solutions.
Together with business domain architects, lead the master data, reference data, and metadata design across the data ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and analytics solutions.
Partner with business leaders, data engineers, and data scientists/analysts to align data architecture with business objectives.
Technology Evaluation & Innovation:
Evaluate emerging data technologies, architectures, and methodologies to ensure continuous innovation.
Proven experience (7+ years) in data architecture, preferably within financial services or banking IT environments.
Strong expertise in Azure Cloud data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks).
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance in financial services.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Spark for data processing and architecture solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
Its nice-to-have:
Certifications in Azure Data Architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
Experience with event-driven and real-time data architectures.
Knowledge of machine learning and AI-driven analytics in financial services.
