Flutter, the worlds largest online sports betting and iGaming group listed on the London and New York stock exchanges, is home to the Southern Europe & Africa (SEA) region, featuring iconic brands like Sisal and PokerStars, a globally loved brand that embodies innovation and ambition, with significant growth potential in a dynamic market.What youll do:Join the team of Regional Finance, specifically in the Tax Department, reporting directly to the Tax Director.Be involved in all tax matters related to Italian entities within an international environment.As Tax Manager, youll be responsible for:Tax Compliance: Ensuring all mandatory local tax filings (corporate income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, Digital Service Tax) are completed accurately and timely, including monitoring and updating the tax consolidation unit status.Tax Accounting: Overseeing calculation of local tax accruals, deferred tax assets and liabilities, and collaborating with accounting teams for accurate tax reporting.General Advisory and Tax Strategies: Providing tax advisory support, proposing optimization strategies (tax credits, reorganizations, structuring, M&A, financing, interest deductibility, international treaties).Tax Audits & Claims: Supporting responses to tax authority requests, audits, and court proceedings.Supporting business initiatives with tax implications.Assisting the Tax Director on key projects.Participating in working groups on tax topics.Monitoring and updating on new tax regulations.Tax Internal Controls: Implementing and optimizing the Tax Control Framework in line with SOX and Group policies, ensuring effective tax governance.What youll bring:Minimum 8 years experience in a Big Four or comparable law firm or industry sector focusing on corporate tax.Degree in Business Administration, Tax Law, or related field; additional qualifications as Chartered Accountant preferred.Excellent communication skills in Italian and English, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts.Ability to work globally with virtual teams.Strong analytical, financial, data management, and Excel modeling skills.Capacity to manage multiple projects under deadlines.Flexibility, pragmatism, and problem-solving orientation.Why choose us:Permanent contract with hybrid work.Supplemental health insurance.Option to join our share saving scheme.Additional reasons to join:Inclusive environment supporting Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.Well-being support including online courses and counseling.Learning & Development opportunities via training, workshops, and FlexiLearning.Parental leave packages and additional support for families.More about us:Visit our blog Inside for insights from our employees: InsideSisal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
