We are looking for candidates for the position of Expert I&C Engineer in Steel industry who is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of steel production processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the achievement of targets for the Instrumentation, Control Systems and Design activities under his/her responsibility in the development of the Project for design with regards to:
oTechnical level.
o Planning.
o Budget.
- Quality levels and compliance with specific project, departmental and company procedures.
- Control of modifications and notification Scope variations.
- Technical monitoring for projects- Analysis of Technical Specifications.
- Focal point for technical / procedural support for the assigned work team. Proven experience in specific instruments used in Steel Industry projects, solid managing and high temperature.
- Proven experience in SIL verification analysis.
- If needed, and based on Department Manager criterion, he/she can be, as project leader, moved at site.
- Keeping up-to-date with technological development and market innovations.
- Review existing systems to identify improvement opportunities and conduct continuous improvement studies.
- Issuing Work Status Reports.
- Control of compliance with Drawing Activities Schedule (Plan4E NVATs), NdC (Change Notices) implementation and continuous follow up, for those cases in which the Instrumentation Discipline is the originator of the Changes of Design.
Qualifications and desired attributes:
- Education: Chemical, Electronic o Electrical Enginner.
- English minimum level required: B2.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in specific instruments related to Solids, Steel and high temperature services.
