OHB Italia is seeking an Electrical and Power Engineer (m/f) Ref.EPS_24 for its Satellite and Missions Department in Milano or Rome.The Electrical Power Systems, EMC & Harness Engineering unit belongs to the Integrated Systems-Satellites & Missions BU. We are responsible for the Harness and Electrical Power Subsystem architecture, leading relevant engineering activities throughout the project lifecyclefrom initial conception and feasibility studies, bids and proposals, to design, implementation, launch, LEOP, and in-orbit operations and maintenance.Your Tasks:Define Electrical Power subsystem architecturePerform requirement analysis, flow down, and trade-off studiesConduct electrical power analysis and verify performanceAssess energy balance, resource sizing, and provide justificationCoordinate with customers and subcontractors for technical follow-upManage Electrical Power Subsystem IVVQ at spacecraft levelSupport S/C AIT tests and launch campaignsParticipate in bids, solution identification, and cost estimationEngage in related R&D activitiesAdditional Responsibilities:Analyze mission Operational Requirement Documents (ORD)Interface with main peers (e.g., AEL Arch, Sys E2E, Avionics, Payloads)Implement electrical architecturesReview equipment data packages and manage RFWs/RFDsAssess electrical interfaces, resources, and budgetsDevelop power architecture in simulation environmentsParticipate in reviews with suppliers and customersSupport system and subsystem IVVQ, NCR management, requirement changes, and AIV activitiesAssist OPS team during SVTs, FOP, LEOP simulations, and commissioningQualifications:Masters Degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Telecommunication Engineering with focus on RF and EMCFluent in English (C1 or higher certification)At least 3 years'' experience in similar roles within Earth Observation, spacecraft testing, or Navigation/Telecom platforms using Electric PropulsionSpecific Knowledge:System requirements analysis, flow down, and verificationElectrical and power system design and sizingDesign documentation management: specifications, performance, interfaces, budgets, validationSupply system analysis, simulation, and validation for mission scenariosSupport during satellite test campaigns and in-orbit phasesElectromagnetics fundamentals, RLC filters, circuit theoryPower conditioning systems (Shunt, MPPT)Matlab/Simulink/Orcad programming skillsElectrical engineering standards (a plus): ECSS standards, MIL-STD-1553-BNice to Have:Customer-focused, proactive, organized, and methodicalStrong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasksAutonomous work ethic and team collaborationResults-oriented with time and cost constraintsProblem-solving skills, electrical background, EMC expertiseWillingness to travel#J-18808-Ljbffr
