Main ObjectivesTo oversee various customer handling areas of airport operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and adherence to safe & secure working procedures.Main DutiesOversee all customer handling areas, including Check-in, Departure Gate, Transit, and Arrival. Ensure all functions are accurately and promptly carried out by company staff as well as Handling Agent Staff to the highest standards.Assign pre-flight duties to all staff and conduct de-briefings to discuss discrepancies.Direct Check-in staff in handling passengers with irregularities, invalid documents, etc.Guide Check-in staff in dealing with excess baggage charges, making decisions on charging and waiving fees.In cases of Denied Boarding, guide check-in staff and assist passengers. Ensure SSCI is updated for downgrading or offloading customers.Establish and maintain good working relationships with customs, immigration, security, police, medical, cargo, ground transport, catering, duty-free, courier companies, tour operators, and other airline staff.Ensure compliance with company and local policies for handling delayed services, providing assistance to delayed passengers.Monitor handling agents'' output to ensure it meets company standards and contractual agreements.Ensure strict adherence to company safety and security standards.Follow company regulations regarding lost, found, or damaged baggage, ensuring timely handling.Ensure staff on shift wear the company uniform to the required standard.Maintain adequate stock levels of stationery and supervise their distribution.Provide quality service to VIPs, unaccompanied children, etc., during arrival, departure, and transit, coordinating with Lounge staff.Communicate with Duty Manager / Airport Manager regarding upgrades of A/C equipment if necessary.Liaise with Airport Support Unit/WWCC for VCRS updates in case of misconnections involving rerouting.Monitor catering figures and update catering units in advance to prevent wastage.Perform any other tasks assigned by the Airport Manager.Encourage GHA staff to sell more ancillaries and generate revenue.Brief DMs/APMs regarding GHA shortfalls daily.Monitor ramp activities.Review Ground Safety Reports (GSRs) and discuss appropriate actions with APM.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of relevant experience.QualificationsOrdinary National Diploma or equivalent.About Application ProcessIf you meet the criteria and are enthusiastic about the role, we welcome your application.
