Purpose of the Job
Within its Spanish and European business, Otelo is looking for a talented business developer in charge of developing a successful business in all market sectors. To take a leading role in ensuring together with the local area the growth of profitable revenue in these specific market sectors, customers and products.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities
- To deliver area revenue for the sectors in charge.
- Responsible for identifying and developing value added opportunities that may fall outside a typical commodity business within defined market sectors.
- Follow market trends of the sectors and advise on appropriate sales approach and propositions to the market.
- Create and maintain relationships at key levels with selected customers and accounts.
- Take an active and leading role in lead generation, customer visits, technical responses and contract negotiations.
- Recognize and coordinate the Otelo resources to best address the customer opportunities.

Person Specification/Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle.
- Experience in market development from scratch.
- Proficient in engaging with CEOs and Directors.
- Strong negotiation skills with large B2B companies.
- Track record of achieving profitable sales revenues.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Preferably with an engineering or scientific background.
- High level of personal integrity and IT literacy.
- Experience in international companies.
- Proficient in English and preferably French or Italian.
