The Client:Our Client is a multi-utility company which operates nationwide, managing a broad range of activities in the Energy And Environmental sectors. Its business spans the production, distribution, and commercialization of power and natural gas, as well as cogeneration, district heating, integrated water service management, waste collection and disposal, public lighting, and internet connectivity. Additionally, it is active in promoting energy efficiency solutions and electric mobility.The organization consists of 15+ operational subsidiaries, with two main offices in Northern Italy. It currently employs about 1,700 people (up from 1,450 few years ago) and closed the last fiscal year with almost 2 billion in revenue. Over the past year alone, 200 new hires were made, alongside a strong investment in training and with an increasing focus on developing leadership and personal competencies. Recently, the company has embarked on a transformation process to redefine its business model. Historically, the corporate structure was highly verticalized with centralized decision-making. Now, with the help of external consultants, the aim is to create a model that better supports each individual business unit, improving efficiency and internal synergies. Position The role: To support this transformation, strengthening the organizational structure has become essential, particularly by establishing a solid Organization function. In this context, the immediate priorities include the hiring of the Head of Organization and of an Organizational Specialist (2 roles), with strong vision and lateral thinking skills, capable of supporting the evolution of organizational models across the business units, according to the specific role seniority and responsibilities. The HR team has already conducted extensive organizational analysis, mapping out roles and competencies, but additional support is needed to translate this groundwork into a more effective and structured model. The goal is clear: to make the organization increasingly modern, agile, and capable of successfully facing future challenges.Position Specific responsibilities:Directly reporting to the Group HR Director, the Head of Organization and the Organizational Specialist will be responsible for (according to the role and specific seniority): Organizational Analysis and DesignMap and analyse business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.Design and implement organizational solutions aligned with corporate strategies and emerging trends (e.g., lean & agile management, project management).Propose initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability to market and regulatory changes.Conduct in-depth organizational analyses and diagnostics, both functional and cross-functional, at micro and macro levels, to improve efficiency and ensure proper resource allocation.Develop and implement organizational mechanisms and systems for integration and coordination, collaborating with other corporate functions (e.g., ICT, Management Control).Corporate Governance and StructureDefine and update the companys organizational model, ensuring role clarity and responsibility allocation, while maintaining up-to-date job descriptions and profiles.Collaborate with HR functions to implement talent and competency management policies.Manage the design and evolution of the organizational structure, overseeing the proper allocation of resources.Lead workforce planning activities across the group, forecasting skill and staffing needs.Change ManagementLead transformational projects related to organizational change, ensuring engagement and involvement across company functions.Work closely with other corporate divisions and subsidiaries on key projects (e.g., business model evolution, ICT projects, PMI initiatives) within the scope of organizational development.Foster a company culture cantered on innovation and continuous improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration & Partner with Management and HR Business Partners to align organizational initiatives with corporate strategic objectives.Support business units and corporate functions in managing new projects or structural changes, acting as a Project Manager when required.Compliance and Regulatory FrameworkEnsure organizational processes comply with industry regulations and corporate governance standards.Contribute to drafting and refining operational procedures (in collaboration with Quality Assurance and ICT) to regulate process execution.Requirements:Degree in Economics and Management, Engineering, or related fields. A Masters Degree in Business Administration or Business Organisation would represent a plus.For the Head of Organization: At least 7-10 years of relevant experience,For the Organizational Specialist: 4/5 years of relevant experience,in organisational roles within structured and preferably regulated contexts (multi-utility, energy, public services) or within leading consulting firms.I
