One of the most exciting and innovative retailers in the Netherlands is seeking an exceptional Director of E-commerce to lead and scale its global online business.
You will own the online business with complete PL responsibility and ambitious growth targets. This is a hands-on leadership role with high accountability and ownership over a critical part of the global business. Beyond the e-commerce platform, you will also lead the global digital growth teams, responsible for driving growth across both Retail and Online channels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the global e-commerce PL, creating and executing a high-growth strategy.
- Lead all digital growth channels, including performance marketing, social, CRM, and more driving both e-commerce and retail performance.
- Optimize customer acquisition, conversion, and retention using data-driven insights.
- Develop personalized customer journeys through advanced segmentation strategies (leveraging the CDP and marketing technology stack).
- Spearhead digital marketing attribution, incrementality testing, and marketing mix modeling.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (retail, product, planning, marketing) to maximize business impact across channels.
- Lead platform optimization, new feature rollouts, and strategic digital innovation projects.
- Build and develop a high-performing e-commerce and digital growth team.
What Were Looking For:
- 8+ years in high-growth e-commerce leadership roles, with a strong technical and strategic foundation.
- Proven experience owning a PL and driving significant online revenue growth.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, CRM, customer segmentation, and platform optimization.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong background in marketing attribution and A/B testing.
- Exceptional leadership skills and a hands-on entrepreneurial approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Masters degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
