ProductLife Group is urgently seeking an FP&A Controller to support multiple recent acquisitions in Italy. This role acts as a vital link between Finance and other business areas, integrating newly acquired companies and providing value-added financial management information to enhance performance. The FP&A Controller is responsible for translating company strategy into long-range plans, annual budgets, and financial forecasts, utilizing financial modeling to set KPIs and monitor performance.Main ResponsibilitiesReport directly to the CFO for Italy & Switzerland, performing data reconciliation, consolidation, and variance analysis.Use scenario and sensitivity analyses to forecast outcomes and develop key performance metrics.Analyze trends in KPIs related to sales, expenditures, and profit margins.Collaborate with Heads of Business Units and Managing Directors to integrate acquisitions and standardize processes.Present findings and monitor KPIs at both BU and LOB levels, investigating variances.Gather and analyze data from various IT systems for group reporting.Develop and improve budgeting, financial projections, and operational forecasts.Prepare ad-hoc performance reports and lead quarterly and annual budgeting exercises.Present financial reports and support management with data-driven insights.Implement business intelligence tools and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives.ProfileProficiency in English (spoken and written).Ability to explain financial figures to non-finance stakeholders.Advanced Excel skills; VBA knowledge is a plus.Experience in dynamic environments with multiple acquisitions.Experience with data models, databases, ERPs, and analytical cost accounting.Excellent communication, attention to detail, planning, and analysis skills.Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability skills.Project management capabilities.Required EducationBachelors degree in accounting, finance, or economics; Masters degree (MBA), CFA, or FP&A certification preferred.Required ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years as an FP&A Controller or Financial Controller, preferably in the service industry.LanguagesFluent in English (spoken and technical).About UsProductLife Group offers regulatory and compliance outsourcing and consulting services for the global life sciences industry.
