Telesales Executive Based in Milan Job ref: EG /64065Client Overview: Our client is a leading pan European supplier ofglass and plastic containers for the pharmaceutical, chemical, food& beverage, and personal care sectors specialising in packagingfor Vitamins and Sports Nutrition. Role Overview: Manage and grow aportfolio of dedicated customer accounts, overseeing both sales andadministrative functions. Driving sales through outboundcommunications, managing customer relationship and supporting newproduct launches and market research. This includes conductingoutbound calls to promote and sell a range of products, as well asmanaging all internal sales activities related to existing, lapsedand prospective customers. Responsibilities: - Promote a portfolioof plastic and glass packaging products. - Proactively contactbusinesses via phone and email to promote packaging solutions. -Deliver persuasive sales pitches tailored to customer needs. -Secure orders over the phone and guide customers through theordering process. - Respond promptly to inbound calls and enquiriesgenerated through advertisements and campaigns. - Handle questionsand provide detailed product information to potential and existingcustomers. - Follow up with leads to build long-term relationshipsand convert interest into sales. - Maintain accurate records ofcustomer interactions, feedback and transactions. - Process ordersand manage the order book efficiently. - Prepare and handleinvoices in coordination with the accounts team. - Maintain andupdate a database of customer details and sales activity. - Sourceand compile contact lists using directories, purchased databases,and other lead-generation tools. - Conduct market and customersurveys to gather insights and feedback. - Assist the CommercialDirector with the launch of new products and exploration of newbusiness opportunities. Person Specification: - Intermediatevocational level or higher professional educational level - Minimumof two years of work experience in a Sales environment, preferableexperience in Telesales - Strong communication and interpersonalskills - Proven telephone sales or customer service experiencepreferred - Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiplecustomer interactions - Proficient in MS Office and CRM software -Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Fluent inItalian and English For EU roles: For reasons of better legibility,the simultaneous use of the language forms male, female and diverse(f/m/d) is avoided.
