Part-Time SanitorThe Part-Time Sanitor position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing processing and packaging equipment. Sanitors usually work between 20 to 25 hours per week. Work hours can be variable and usually involve working nights and weekends, when other employees are not working or using the machinery. Work is independently performed near heavy machinery in a loud warehouse environment, and often involves working in tight spaces, working in high places, or working with strong chemicals.Responsibilities include: cleaning the equipment necessary for overall manufacturing production, maintaining and cleaning all buildings (including cleaning bathrooms and doing some landscaping work outside), and responding to food safety and housekeeping needs.
