Job Title: Payments Platform Engineer (Dovetail) Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid) Description: We''re hiring a skilled Payments Platform Engineer to support the development and maintenance of a critical high-value payments processing engine based on Dovetail technology. This role is part of a fast-paced team delivering scalable solutions for SEPA, SWIFT, and ISO 20022-compliant payment flows in a highly regulated environment. Responsibilities: Develop and optimize payment workflows within a Java-based Dovetail platform Collaborate on real-time and batch processing for domestic and cross-border transactions Contribute to ISO 20022 and TARGET2 compliance projects Work closely with DevOps and integration teams to ensure stability and performance Requirements: Strong Java development experience (Spring, Maven, Git) Proven experience in payments systems (SWIFT, SEPA, RTGS, ISO 20022) Hands-on knowledge of Dovetail or similar high-value payment engines Familiarity with message formats like MT103, pacs.008, or equivalent
