Responsibilities
- Automation Solutions: Assess, architect, and deploy automation solutions for IT environments.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for smooth integration and deployment.
- Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Powershell; familiarity with Python and batch scripting is advantageous.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to pinpoint automation opportunities and drive ongoing improvements.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation tools and workflows.
- Documentation: Record and disseminate best practices to help other teams adopt and scale automation solutions effectively.
- Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automation and DevOps to suggest enhancements.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in IT or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Comprehensive IT Knowledge: Extensive understanding of Windows OS, virtualization, and Active Directory.
- Powershell Expertise: Significant experience with Powershell.
- Python Skills: Familiarity with Python is advantageous.
- Automation Proficiency: Skilled in using automation tools like Ansible.
- CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Proven track record in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably in GitLab.
- Agile and DevOps Knowledge: Strong grasp of Agile principles and DevOps practices.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to proactively identify and resolve challenges.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for Automation: Enthusiasm for driving operational excellence through automation.
