Category Manager - Waste Management, Cusano MilaninoCusano Milanino, ItalyRisorse Professional, a company specialized in Middle and Senior Management recruitment, on behalf of an international group leader in the environment and circular economy sector, is seeking a:The candidate will primarily focus on purchasing and managing maintenance for vehicles (trucks/operational vehicles) and plants (recycling, biogas, etc.).Main ResponsibilitiesDefine purchasing strategies for vehicles and oversee routine and extraordinary maintenance in collaboration with operations management;Analyze the supplier market and scout for new partners for spare parts, workshops, and maintenance services near sites;Negotiate purchase and maintenance contracts with machinery manufacturers for plant equipment (in collaboration with the technical department and operations management);Negotiate purchase or leasing contracts and related maintenance for vehicles;Negotiate framework agreements with workshops, dealerships, and spare parts suppliers;Establish SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and KPIs to measure supplier performance;Adopt the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach to evaluate not only purchase price but also total costs throughout the asset lifecycle (maintenance, spare parts, operational efficiency, disposal, etc.).Required Skills and QualificationsSolid understanding of procurement processes and category management;Advanced data analysis skills and experience with ERP tools (e.g., Excel, Zucchetti);Deep knowledge of the relevant market;Negotiation skills;Ability to formalize agreements and contracts;Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills;Results-oriented mindset;Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks;Ability to manage cross-functional teams;Excellent planning and organizational skills;Educational and Experience RequirementsDegree in Economics or Management Engineering;At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or category management roles;Preferably experience in sectors related to the specific category.#J-18808-Ljbffr
