This is a permanent po sition and will report to the BI Finance Performance Management Team.Key elements of the roleFinancial Analyst to support the FI Business Performance Management team within the Business Intelligence Centre of ExcellenceDevelop an in-depth understanding of the diverse business processes across GlanbiaDevelop business partnering relationships with key finance stakeholders around their financial reporting solutions across the GroupGain understanding of Group-wide Glanbia Financial Management Reporting and the SAP / BI solutions that support itDevelop deep understanding of Glanbia financial data both from a business and technical perspectiveLead requirements gathering and detailed design workshops with business finance community and work with BI technical team to deliver the most appropriate solutions.Participate on multiple (and sometimes concurrent) implementation and continuous improvement projectsCompliance with Glanbia documentation standardsProvide Management Accounting expertise to respond to business requirementsTo contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement of Glanbias BI systemised reportingSome international travel to project locations will be required as part of the roleRequirements for the roleQualificationsQualified Management Accountant with a minimum of 3 to 5 years PQESkills & experienceAt least three years experience as a Financial analyst or Management Accountant, preferably in a Manufacturing environment working closely with the Financial Controller in preparation of Management Reports and associated analysis & commentaryExcellent communication and business partnering skills and a strong team playerDemonstrate an ability to accurately understand and analyse very detailed, complex business processes (including going back to source data) that is relied upon to define an issue/opportunity and support effective decision making.Proven track record of taking the initiative and driving continuous improvement in your organisationExperience in SAP ERP, SAP BW and SAP BO would be a distinct advantage.CompetenciesDemonstrate ability to identify issues, communicate & business partner to implement changeStrong Financial analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution oriented approach towards business issuesAbility to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with Group-wide Finance stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyCommercially focused with high levels of enthusiasm and energy.A team player who has the ability to motivate others, making it fun while getting the job done.Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better.Able to take direction as well as work under own initiativeAre you someone who likes to make it happen, make it better and make it fun?
