Lead a High-Performing Store for adidas
We're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Store Manager to lead our adidas store in Kildare. This is a senior retail leadership role with full accountability for the store's commercial success, customer experience, people development and operational performance.
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering sales and profit targets, creating a high-performance culture and ensuring the adidas brand is brought to life through exceptional service and execution. You'll lead from the front on the shop floor, inspire your team to achieve their best, and use data and insight to drive continuous improvements across the business.
Working closely with the District Manager and wider support functions, you'll play a key role in developing talent, driving operational excellence and creating an outstanding experience for every consumer who visits the store.
What You'll Be Responsible ForCommercial Performance & Store Leadership
- Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success.
- Deliver and exceed sales, profitability and productivity targets.
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Challenge the status quo and implement actions that drive continuous improvement.
- Effectively manage store resources to maximise business performance.
- Partner with the District Manager and support functions to address opportunities and business challenges.
Consumer Experience & Brand Execution
- Lead by example and spend significant time on the sales floor supporting customers and your team.
- Ensure an exceptional consumer experience at every stage of the customer journey.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, consistently demonstrating adidas values and behaviours.
- Ensure all brand, visual merchandising and in-store communication standards are executed to a high standard.
- Drive a culture where customer service and selling are always the priority.
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing store team.
- Create a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.
- Set clear expectations and provide regular, constructive performance feedback.
- Effectively manage performance, recognising success and addressing underperformance where required.
- Identify and develop future talent within the business.
- Work with the District Manager to support succession planning and long-term capability development.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all areas of the store.
- Maintain the legal and financial integrity of the business.
- Ensure merchandise deliveries are processed promptly and product is always available for customers.
- Lead stock management, inventory accuracy and loss prevention activity.
- Ensure cash handling and store transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, productive and compliant working environment for employees and customers.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures and HR standards are consistently applied.
What We're Looking ForEssential Experience
- Previous Store Manager experience within a sports, fashion or customer-focused retail environment.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver commercial performance against sales and profit targets.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience and store execution.
- Experience using data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and business results.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months' experience within a sportswear, fashion or customer-focused retail environment.
- Minimum 12 months' Store Manager responsibility.
- Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.
- Advanced verbal communication skills.
