The research should focus on the political and cultural history of US-European relations in the 19th and 20th centuries, including cultural transfer, cultural diplomacy, and intellectual networks.About the CenterThe Center promotes interdisciplinary research in transatlantic studies, emphasizing themes underrepresented in historiography. It offers its fellows access to a network of contacts, notably through the Center for Transatlantic Italian Studies (CETIS), a partnership with Boston College and Wellesley College, fostering Italian-American academic collaborations.Host Institution and SupportApplicants will present their fellowship proposal with the Center as the main host. The Center, established in February 2020, aims to promote European history and societies through conferences, publications, dissemination activities, scholarships, and collaborations with research bodies.
