Ensure that the value for money is maintained in every booking and a high standard of customer service is provided to all Group Sales internal and external customers while adhering to all standards and policies of the department and the organization.**Responsibilities**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Answer incoming Group Sales telephone lines for the Wildlife Conservation Societys Zoos and Aquarium.- Process all advance bookings for all parks.- Ensure that customers are aware of the full range of products available at the individual parks, including special offers, promotions, and different up-sell items.- Ensure that value for money is maintained in every booking.- Ensure that all customers are clearly made aware of all terms, conditions, and procedures that apply to their group booking.- Assist customers with general inquiries relating to the various parks.- Provide exceptional customer service and uphold high standards as they relate to courtesy, professional presentation, appearance and attitude both written and verbal.- Support the sales strategy by assisting with outbound calls and telemarketing.- Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all team members.- All other relevant duties assigned by the Group Sales management team.**Qualifications****- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.****- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills****- Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections****- Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment****- Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with customers over the phone.****- Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly****- Ability to work with various levels of management as well as working with other departments.****- Highly organized and detail oriented.****- Prior sales and/or customer service experience preferred.****- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, Word and Excel a must, PowerPoint a plus.
