HOGENT consists of eight departments: Business andOrganization; Biosciences and Industrial Technology; Healthcare; ITand Digital Innovation; Teacher Education; Environment; GraduatePrograms; and Social-Agogic Work. In addition, there is the Schoolof Arts, the E-lab, as well as the research centers. The researchcenters are autonomous interdisciplinary research entities ofHOGENT that are responsible for research-related activities. To support the management, departments,School of Arts and the E-lab, there is an overarchingadministration. Each department comprises one or more educationalcenters. The educational center encompasses a cluster of relatedbachelor''s programs, specializations, postgraduate programs, etc.,and serves as the basic unit for each (teaching) staff member. Eachmember of the teaching staff is assigned to a team.
