Account Manager IT Solutions (Netherlands, Hybrid) An opportunity has opened for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading specialist distributor. Based in Hoofddorp, this role focuses on managing and expanding a customer base across the Netherlands, working with some of the top IT companies in the region. We are looking for a self-motivated, commercially driven professional with experience in IT solutions sales. This role offers the flexibility to take ownership of your accounts, providing value-added account management while introducing new technologies to customers. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow a portfolio of customers, developing long-term relationships Identify and drive new sales opportunities through proactive engagement Consult with senior stakeholders (CEO/CTO level) to align solutions with business needs Develop strategic account plans and maintain an accurate sales pipeline Work closely with pre-sales teams to generate and close new business Ensure CRM records and sales forecasts are up to date Meet or exceed revenue and margin targets Stay up to date with industry trends and attend vendor/product training Skills Experience Required Sales experience in IT solutions preferred Strong relationship management and business development skills Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn new technologies Ability to work independently and solve complex challenges Fluent in Dutch and English Whats on Offer Competitive base salary with uncapped commission Company car fuel card Pension scheme (10%) 25+ days holiday Employee assistance programme death in service benefits Career development programs with fast-track opportunities Supportive, dynamic work environment with a strong team culture We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone can thrive.
