As a Junior Product Manager, you are an important part of the product team, overseeing the entire process - from collection planning to ensuring quality and profitability. You support the product managers in the areas of women''s, men''s, and children''s fashion, working closely with design, development, and sourcing. Your product understanding and eye for detail contribute to the successful implementation of our strong brand collections. Your Area of Influence
Active participation in implementing the product strategy
- You contribute to the development and review of the existing product strategy.
- You help shape the long-term CALIDA product roadmap and support its implementation.
Shared responsibility in collection framework planning, analyses, and systems
- You assist product managers in content and economic control of the collection, actively managing and maintaining the collection framework plan and related documents.
- You are responsible for creating and maintaining articles in the system and act as a key link to relevant interfaces such as sourcing, design, and pattern development.
- You collaborate on creating presentations and documents (e.g., for concept meetings, sales meetings).
- You conduct specific analyses (e.g., during product reviews or launches).
- You participate in product development, considering material selection, fit, processing, pricing, and commercial performance.
- You contribute to projects managed by the product management team.
Active Participation in Product Lifecycle Management
- You support end-to-end launches, especially regarding concept definition (collection planning, business case) and the entire development process in close collaboration with brand merchandising, design, development, and sourcing.
- You oversee the outlet management, particularly in cooperation with marketing and merchandise management.
What We Value
- You have 1-2 years of experience in product management within the textile industry; a technical textile education is advantageous.
- You possess product know-how and an understanding across the entire value chain, with experience working with design, technical development, sourcing, and external production partners.
- You demonstrate strong implementation skills and are convincing with your entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and conceptual thinking.
- You are highly numerate and possess strong analytical skills.
- You are a reliable person with meticulous work habits and a keen sense for fashion and trends.
- You are communicative and assertive in interactions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- You have proficient German and English language skills; French is desirable.
