Were currently seeking a passionate Lead UI Designer to join our internal team. As a Lead UI designer at intent, you'll have the chance to work on diverse IoT projects, contributing your expertise to our team.
intent has over 10+ years of experience in helping to conceptualize, design, and build apps for IoT and connected devices. We're a software house that acts as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (like wearables and IoT) - from net-new to products looking to enter a competitive and established niche. Some of our clients include Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.

- A passion for mobile technology combined with comprehensive knowledge of iOS and Android platform guidelines sets you apart.
- Presenting designs to clients is something you excel at, effectively explaining your design decisions (English C1 /C2 proficiency).
- Designing micro-interactions and animations is a key part of your process to make the user experience more delightful.
- Figma workspace and creating Design Systems is a piece of cake for you.
- Making sales calls to potential clients comes naturally to you.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in Health, Well-being or Audio industry
- Experience in remote work in an agency environment or as a freelancer
- IoT Geek
- 4+ years of commercial experience in UI design, experience in mobile app design, experience in creating Design Systems on Figma, and good command of written and spoken English (C1).
Salary: 17-23k on B2B depending on your experience.

Role description:
As a Lead UI Designer, you will cooperate with our amazing top-notch Designers and world-class UX Team. You will work with international startups, scale-ups & enterprise-level companies from the beginning of their innovative solutions. Your expertise will be a support to our Technical Teams in delivering outstanding software experiences for native iOS and Android apps.
What youll do?
- Conduct design workshops with clients.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes based on UX wireframes
- Support projects from initial design to final production.
- Contribute in developing our internal best practices and ensure standards are set and followed.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities within and outside of intent.
- Closely collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and supervise the accuracy of implementation.
We should talk if you:
- Have 4+ years of commercial experience in UI design and you basically live, dream, and breathe product design!
- Are an advanced player in Figma with experience in creating design systems using components and auto-layouts, and always keep Figma files clean within all UI flows.
- Have hands-on practice with designing interfaces for IoT and connected devices.
- Have a broad portfolio of visually rich work.
- Speak and write excellent English (C1 level is a must).
- Have a knack for design - we all have an impact, so you keep track of the design trends and take the initiative to incorporate these into the company practices.
