Are you ready to bring data centers to life? Were looking for a driven Commissioning Engineer to join our high-performing team in Eemshaven, where innovation meets precision in powering the digital world.
Youll be on the frontline of commissioning complex electrical and mechanical systemstransformers, switchgear, UPS, cooling, and life safety systemsmaking sure theyre tested, validated, and ready to perform at the highest level. From Level 3 to Level 5 commissioning, youll lead essential phases in one of the most mission-critical environments on the planet.
What Youll Be Doing
- Lead and execute L3L5 commissioning for cutting-edge base building systems.
- Manage testing and validation across electrical, mechanical, security, and network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, track, and resolve issues in real-time to ensure quality delivery.
- Produce and maintain detailed commissioning documentation and test reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Implement industry-leading standards and quality control protocols.
- Contribute to SOPs, MOPs, and emergency procedures for system operations.
- Deliver technical training to end-users and operations teams.
- Support construction and commissioning activities, including potential night/weekend work.
What You Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on commissioning or data center engineering experience.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, life safety, access control, and telecoms.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel between data center locations as needed.
- Familiar with MS Office Suite and commissioning management tools.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with IP-based CCTV, biometric controls, VLANs, and network switching.
- Knowledge of fire detection and gaseous suppression systems.
- Understanding of data center change management and maintenance processes.
