The Energy Management Junior Engineer inside TecnimontServices Spa company, is part of the Energy Management team andsupports the implementation of energy audits with the aim ofanalyzing, detecting, modeling the flows of primary energy(mechanical, electrical and thermal) in the energy systems in whichhe is called to operate ( commercial or industrial), also carryingout field inspections. The aim is to reduce consumption, improvingenergy efficiency. Reporting to the Energy Manager, he isresponsible for collecting, cataloging and analyzing data from allthe energy-intensive components of a system (heating, ventilationand air conditioning, lighting) and the sources of supply both interms of contracts and provenance ( for example from renewablesources). Finally, he supports the Energy Management Team inanalyzing data useful for achieving environmental and efficiencyobjectives (for example those related to decarb plans). MainActivities & Responsibilities Following the guidelines of theEnergy Manager, the Energy Efficiency Engineer performs thefollowing tasks: - Conduct energy inspections; - Collect energydata to evaluate monthly and annual consumption in order toidentify the electrical and thermal load baseline; - Preparereports and statistical data on energy consumption to be submittedto the Energy Manager; - Analyze energy contracts in order tocontrol the services provided; - Populate a database of consumptionareas, with a focus on the most significant ones in terms ofcharacteristics, power input, date of installation, etc.; - Monitorthe digital energy management system - Monitor a set of energyperformance indicators (EnPI) to compare consumption betweendifferent plants; - Participate as Energy Auditor in the draftingof energy audit in order to develop intervention actions; -Collaborate in the evaluation and implementation of Best AvailableTechnologies (BAT) to reduce energy consumption, environmentalimpact and costs - Monitor the reference regulations, includingaccess to incentives and tax relief;Collaborate in the definitionof monitoring strategies and in the formulation of multi-yeardecarbonization plans. - Analyzing data for achieving long-termenvironmental sustainability objectives (zero-emissions) - Developawareness programs to encourage careful and aware use of energy Theideal candidate will have a solid academic background and a strongmotivation to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon dioxideemissions. Responsibilities: - Support the monitoring andevaluation of the impact of the implemented solutions throughreading and interpreting energy baselines; - Collaborate in thedevelopment and implementation of solutions to improve energyefficiency and reduce environmental impact; - Support the analysisof energy data to identify opportunities for energy savings andcarbon dioxide emissions reduction, also for the purpose ofdeveloping reports or energy audits. Requirements: - Degree inenergy or environmental engineering; - Knowledge of regulations andinternational standard on energy efficiency and CO2 emissionreduction; - Knowledge of consumption monitoring systems and maincommunication buses (RS485, 420 mA, etc.); - Ability to work in ateam and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients; -Fluent in English; - Availability for short-term national andinternational travel.
