Job Description:
- Our client is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and oversee service delivery for their prestigious customer in aerospace. The candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery, optimizing operational performance, ensuring profitability, and acting as a key liaison with the customer. The role involves both operational management and strategic development of the business. This position includes but is not limited to the tasks below. The scope is designed to be broad enough to cover all typical responsibilities expected from a Delivery Manager in such a high-level environment.
Skills
Financial Performance Management
- Prepare, update, and report financial dashboards weekly to the management
- Optimize margins by identifying and correcting loss-making activities
- Propose and implement corrective action plans to regain profitability
- Provide accurate forecasts and financial visibility on upcoming months
- Track and update KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards
- Quality Risk Oversight
- Get the presentation ready and validate monthly Quality Review Meeting (QRM) reports
- Ensure action and risk trackers are up to date across all projects
- Ensure service deviations and KPI anomalies are addressed with clear action plans
- Control and review QRM presentations in collaboration with responsible teams
- Guarantee that quality processes and tools are implemented and adhered to
Customer Relationship Communication
- Attend client to meet at least 1 times per week to ensure project alignment
- Document key meetings (QRM/CRM or client visit/meetings) with accurate minutes
- Act as the point of contact for escalations, issue resolution, and performance discussions
- Maintain proactive communication with internal teams and stakeholders
Team Management Internal Coordination
- Set up a strong and efficient team organization aligned with EBITDA and revenue targets
- Identify bottlenecks and propose internal adjustments with the Global Delivery Manager
- Support technical and financial performance reviews with clear and precise objectives
- Follow HR processes (salary reviews, leave/absence tracking, performance evaluations)
- Lead or contribute to technical interviews and recruitment, ensuring agile hiring cycles
- Anticipate staffing needs and manage talent pipeline to prevent resourcing gaps
Business Development Strategic Expansion
- Collaborate with the end customer Account Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Contribute to tender responses and support bid management processes
- Provide internal communication of any potential leads or growth opportunities
- Stay vigilant about client context and propose innovative services or solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Delivery Manager or equivalent position
- Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams in a technical environment
- Strong financial acumen and experience in margin optimization and forecasting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation
- Able to take ownership, make decisions, and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and lead continuous improvement
- Flexibility skills required
