Your Responsibilities:
- You identify optimization projects related to existing processes.
- You carry out the necessary preparation and analysis, taking into account all relevant aspects: cost, return on investment, productivity, safety, etc.
- Once approved, you coordinate these challenging projects. From assembling the project team and task distribution to budget management, monitoring execution, and final delivery (on time, within budget, and to the expected quality).
- You coach and guide colleagues involved in your projects.
- In addition to these diverse projects, you also act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the implementation of new films and packaging materials, taking on a coordinating role between operations, maintenance, and engineering.
- You are also technically and operationally responsible for the optical scanners. For their maintenance and configuration, you can rely on a team of experienced staff.
- Safety is your top priority. You ensure the correct application of safety procedures and address any safety issues that arise during project execution and delivery.
- Throughout all of this, you build close cooperation with the maintenance and operations managers of the relevant departments.
Your Profile:
- You hold a masters degree in a technical field.Preferably in Electromechanical Engineering.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment. Experience in the food industry is a plus.
- You can draw in AutoCAD 2D; experience with 3D is an asset.
- You speak Dutch and are fluent in English and French.
- You communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
- You have a strong operational interest and enjoy being actively present on the shop floor.
- You are a true team player.
- You place high importance on safety and have a strong focus on quality.
