Overview of Aqua for All

Aqua for All is an international foundation committed to crowd in private capital and strengthen enterprises to transform the water and sanitation sector in low and middle-income countries. We believe that market-based scalable solutions, combined with public and private capital, are needed to bridge the gap to achieve SDG 6 water and sanitation for all.

The approach of Aqua for All is to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to deliver sustainable water and sanitation services and enable financial institutions to deploy private capital towards the water and sanitation sector. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Lead Impact Knowledge.

The role

As Lead Impact Knowledge, you will chart a vision for the Impact Knowledge team of Aqua for All based on the vision of the organisation. You translate that into a strategy that continuously improves the capabilities needed to implement and operationalise the impact system for programmes with our funders. You will be responsible for enabling the Aqua for All team to develop and close impactful transactions and innovations that are truly changing the market. You will gather and interpret impact data and support the communication of the results, knowledge and learnings to Aqua for Alls wide range of stakeholders. We are looking for a flexible and hands-on candidate who will lead Aqua for All on strategic, social and environmental development impact management matters with a strong climate and gender angle.

Furthermore, you will lead and develop a team of engaged and experienced development impact and knowledge experts, providing coaching, mentorship, knowledge sharing, motivation, and strategic direction, fostering their professional growth and effectiveness. Under your leadership, your team will provide extensive support to fundraising proposals (e.g. the Green Climate Fund (GCF)). Working with the wider Aqua for All team, you develop collaborative working relationships both outside and inside the organisation, with Aqua for Alls teams in the Netherlands, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
