In order to enforce the IT department, ING Luxembourg is looking for a full time Development Engineer Business Intelligence (m/f) on an permanent contract in the domain of Data Mangement & Regulatory Reporting .

Job description

Your mission is to design, develop, test and deploy applications/systems in an Agile/DevOps oriented environment. This involved the implementation of the following activities:

• Autonomous support of the backlog users story of your team by strictly respecting to the business specifications and the standards in terms of performance, availability and security,
• Active participation in various Agile development events,
• Writing and execution of automated tests (unit test, functional / non-functional, integration test, ),
• Solving problems/incidents in collaboration with Ops Engineers,
• Follow-up of the life cycle of the various applications related to the domain activity,
• Continuous improvement of its own technical and functional expertise.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format.
• Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into a usable form for business analysis.
• Provide ongoing support and training to users on BI tools and data analytics.

Your profile

Technical skills:

• Languages: SQL, PL/SQL
• Data warehousing concepts & techniques (dimensional modelling);
• SQL and PL/SQL languages;
• Oracle Databases;
• Operating systems (Windows, Linux, );
• Reporting tool (Business Objects and others);
• ETL / ELT tool (Data Stage);
• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, SAS and Python.
• Knowledge of IBM IGC (Information Governance Catalogue), IA (Information Analyser), Oracle APEX is an asset

Experience:

Master degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development.

Languages:

Fluency of French or English AND good comprehension of the other.
