EMEAA Talent Partners is hiring on behalf of a leading multinational FMCG client to appoint a high-performing Sales Manager to lead key retail partnerships in the Netherlands. This role is based in North Holland and offers a unique opportunity to shape commercial strategy and customer engagement across major retail channels.

With a strong market presence across Europe, they are now seeking a dynamic commercial professional to strengthen their partnerships with leading Dutch retailers and accelerate retail channel growth.
The Role:
As Sales Manager Retail, you will take ownership of the commercial plan and execution for key retail customers in the Dutch market. You will play a pivotal role in developing long-term partnerships, driving revenue growth, and delivering best-in-class execution at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow strategic relationships with top retail customers (Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Superunie).
- Develop and implement annual joint business plans and promotional strategies to achieve volume, value, and profitability targets.
- Deliver monthly sales forecasts, monitor KPIs, and manage trade spend effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, category management, and supply chain to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Report to the Sales Director, contributing to the development of the broader commercial strategy in the Benelux region.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fluent in Dutch and English both are mandatory for effective customer communication and internal collaboration.
- 5+ years of proven success in FMCG sales, with a strong focus on the Retail channel.
- Experience managing key accounts in the Netherlands (Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Superunie is highly desirable).
- Commercially savvy, results-driven, and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Energetic, proactive, and collaborative with a passion for consumer goods and retail excellence.
