Our Financial Service Client is currently looking fora proactive and skilled individual to enhance collaboration betweenthe Risk and IT departments. KeyResponsibilities: - Develop a strategic framework to enhancecollaboration between Risk and IT, including establishing a datalayer, supporting production investigations/incidents, performingreconciliations, designing prototypes, and providing functionalspecifications. - Assist with risk management processes and dailyoperations, including risk monitoring and report preparation. -Create and implement automation strategies for daily processesusing AI and modern technologies. - Design and develop interactivetools (GUIs) for data analytics, data quality, time seriesanalysis, and risk monitoring. - Perform ad-hoc analyses andrespond to requests from regulators, clients, and ISV. - Analyzebusiness processes to identify potential risks. - Evaluate theeffectiveness of IT controls and other risk mitigation measures.Candidate Profile: - Master''s degree in computer science,engineering, physics, or a related quantitative field. -Proficiency in Python programming. - 4-5 years of experience infinancial or technology services (e.g., banks, asset managers,fintech, regulators, audit/consultancy firms). - Knowledge ofsoftware development best practices, including object-orienteddesign, version control, continuous integration, test-drivendevelopment, and RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with risk managementframeworks, methodologies, risk metrics (e.g., VaR, ES), and risksystems architectures. - Ability to manage pressure, meet tightdeadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience indesigning and developing GUIs and interactive tools is a plus. -Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail,and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication andpresentation skills. - Fluency in both spoken and written English.Please apply to this advert to be considered.
