As an Enterprise Architect Security, you will be part of the Enterprise Architecture team. You will work closely with IT architects, the security team, and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Base Cyber Security is a prominent European grid operator that designs, builds, maintains, and manages high-voltage networks across the Netherlands and Germany. We are at the forefront of the energy transition, with over 23,000 kilometers of high-voltage connections and a workforce of nearly 5,000, providing daily electricity to over 42 million users. As an Enterprise Architect Security, you will serve as a key contact for senior leadership on infrastructure and cybersecurity topics, guiding critical decisions. Tasks: Address complex cybersecurity challenges with pragmatic solutions. Establish principles, governance, and guidelines to enhance cybersecurity capabilities. Oversee significant cybersecurity projects (such as cloud migration and data platform implementation), ensuring timely escalation and reporting to senior management. Requirements: A minimum of six years of experience as an Enterprise Architect specializing in cybersecurity. Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices in information security and risk management. Proven leadership experience in architectural solutions of strategic importance, including negotiation and problem anticipation. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, TOGAF) are preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with proficiency in German and/or Dutch as an advantage. Ability to guide IT architects within the domain effectively. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Capability to foster collaboration and maintain credibility and trust within the team. Preferences: Familiarity with business operations in Transmission System Operators (TSO), utilities, or infrastructure assets is highly desirable. Fluency in German and/or Dutch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
