This position also functions as a resource to the hourly associates in the region.**DUTIES**:Interprets company policies and supports business unitsRecommends courses of action and provides documentation to management in support of actions taken regarding Associate behavioral and performance issues. (i.e., performance improvement plans and corrective action documentation)Develops new policies and makes recommendations for policy revisions as appropriateConducts investigations in response to Associate complaints and recommends/implements courses of action based on investigation resultsConducts exit interviews with salaried Associates and reports resultsCommunicates and recommends changes, with regard to the annual performance appraisal process for hourly associatesPrepares position statements for all employment related litigation, inquiries, or government changesConducts Human Resource training (i.e., policy and procedure training, sexual harassment training, performance appraisal workshops, etc.)**EXPERIENCE**:1 to 5+ years of HR generalist experience with an emphasis in employee relations**MINIMUM EDUCATION**:Related training/education/experience in Human Resources or related experience.**SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:Candidate must be able to exercise judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good relationships at all levels in the organizationExcellent interpersonal skills (written and oral)Our company is made up of highly talented, diverse, and motivated people who are dedicated to defining the business of politics.
