Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager your mission will be to help us to take the company to the next level by driving growth (based on the 2025-2030 business plan) and develop our activities throughout Belgium, which means in particular :
- Promoting and developing/improving our existing service offerings, with a particular focus on Conflict and Transactions (M&A Corporate Finance) pillars.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the Belgian market by researching and analysing market trends, competitor activity, clients needs and targeting new leads.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive company growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy tailored to market needs.
- Represent the company at networking events and conferences to build brand awareness and establish connections.
- Identify and secure new market shares and opening doors to new opportunities.

Your Profile:
- Expertise & Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in the financial and/or legal sector, and developed skills in sales, marketing and business development. You have sufficient insights in our core business activities (a.o. conflict resolution, corporate governance advisory, family owned businesses, capital transactions, exits, M&A and corporate finance missions). You strongly believe you can help us develop our business in the Belgian corporate environment.
- Entrepreneurial approach & Network: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to spot market trends, commercial leads and convert them into tangible opportunities. Having an established professional network in the Belgian corporate market, , which you can leverage to generate new business, is a plus.
- Communication/Negotiation skills: You strive for open and transparent communication. You have excellent negotiation and communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to build trusting relationships.
- Management: You have good people management skills, with the ability to drive and lead internal teams on different projects.
- Strategic focus and independent mindset: A strong results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and proactively. You will show your critical thinking skills, and will challenge existing ideas and practices.
- Languages: You are native in French or Dutch with at least a C1 level in the other national language, since you will cover the regions of Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
