As our Senior Hardware DesignEngineer, youll support HIDs success by: - Determining hardwareRequirements: Working in conjunction with product management,supply chain, as well as software and mechanical engineers,ascertaining the requirements and ensuring seamless compatibilityand integration of the designed solution. - Developing HardwareArchitecture : Formulating the architecture for new or existinghardware component systems. This includes creating or modifyingdetailed schematic designs for hardware systems and platforms, aswell as PCB layout and BOM creation - Hardware POCs : Creating afunctional model or prototype to demonstrate the feasibility of aconcept, ensuring it meets the intended goals - Debugging:Diagnosing and resolving component bugs and malfunctions. This alsorequires in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to foreseepotential issues at the intersection of hardware and software. -Testing and Validation: Overseeing the testing and validation ofhardware designs, ensuring they meet all necessary functional,performance, as well as safety, and environment standards(EMI/EMC). - Technical Documentation: Documenting the design andtesting process and preparing detailed reports on test results,analytics, and performances, along with potential improvements.Your Experience and Background include: - Advanced hardwareknowledge with a comprehensive understanding of digital and analogcircuits, processors, memory, and other hardware components. -Proficiency in system-level design, including aspects like signalintegrity, power integrity, thermal management and radio emissions- Experience with design tools such as schematic/PCB and mechanicaldesign. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes (PCB and assemblyand design for manufacturability (DFM) - Knowledge of IndustryStandards and Regulations such as FCC, CE and ISO - Deep knowledgeof RF designs and technologies from LF to UHF - Familiarity withprogramming languages such as C, C++, Python can be beneficial -Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and tools, such asbreadboards or 3D printers, can be beneficial - Experience withhardware simulation tools can be beneficial - Autonomy andproactivity - Ability to collaborate and work withmulti-competency, cross-functional teams globally. - Clear andefficient oral and written communication. - Can do attitude. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English -Ability to work in Agile environment - Bachelors or Masters degreein Electrical Engineering or equivalent - 7+ years of hardwaredevelopment engineering in a team environment - Experience inprototyping, bring-up, debugging and validation - Ability tounderstand and identify product tradeoffs (power, performance,etc.) and optimize designs to meet requirements - Working knowledgeof embedded systems with a focus on meeting tight constraints (i.e.power, size) - Strong wireless system design experience (RFID, BLE,Wifi, and other IoT and real-time localization technologies ) -Additional knowledge in following areas: CPU/SOC, power(DC-DCconverters, battery, power management, low power design), analogcircuits, - Sensor design and integration, as well as security, isa plus. - Experience of working with Jira/Confluence is a plus -Experienc
