Join our clients elite team in Rome, a trusted partner of European governments and international organizations. They specialize in IT and space services, supporting Earth observation missions, satellite data processing, and research. As a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, you will oversee real-time mission operations, ensure system integrity, and optimize cloud infrastructure for ESA satellite missions. Responsibilities include monitoring performance, resolving operational issues, automating workflows, and enhancing system reliability.YOUR TASKS: Oversee real-time monitoring and operation of ESA missions in cloud environments. Diagnose, resolve, and prevent operational issues, minimizing downtime through proactive and automated solutions. Analyze system performance, implement improvements, and optimize cloud processes. Develop and maintain automation scripts. Assist with software deployments, system upgrades, and integrations. Maintain operational procedures and documentation. Perform routine application maintenance for performance and security.YOUR SKILLS: Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting. Shell scripting skills (Bash, Python). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Troubleshooting and performance optimization skills. Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls). Experience in requirements analysis and technical reporting. Excellent English communication skills (B2 or higher).
