Job Title: Commodity Senior Buyer Raw Materials, Milan Job Description: Your role: You will ensure the design and execution of sourcing strategies and events in cooperation with Global Commodity Leaders, local purchasing teams, and other key stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers aligned with sourcing strategies. Manage the supply base and monitor suppliers'' performance, including service level, quality, risk, and compliance. Support local teams in resolving supply issues. Develop deep knowledge of raw material market dynamics, supply base, and material applications within Prysmian. Lead market trend analysis and develop insights for stakeholders, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and price evolution analysis. Lead relationships with R&D for qualification programs and innovation initiatives, including Design-To-Cost programs. Who are we looking for? Experience in similar roles within multinational organizations. Ability to manage complexity and make quick, effective decisions. Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
