The Dexia Group, a former banking group under orderly resolution since 2012, with its main establishments in Brussels and Paris and branches in Ireland, the United States and Rome, is looking for a junior legal specialist for its Rome branch. The junior legal specialist will be tasked with managing transactions and relationships with Italian public-sector institutions, including related disputes.
This post based in Rome is for a one-year contract. Depending on the opportunities available within the entity, a permanent contract could be considered after the one-year contract concludes.
Compensation will be commensurate with the past relevant experience that the candidate brings to the position.
The junior legal specialist will:
- support the local legal counsel
- provide internal reporting on status of disputes.
- prepare supporting documentation for the branchs decision-making bodies and central bodies relating to matters within the branchs remit;
- help to ensure that all legal acts connected with the branchs activities are correct in both substance and form and are compliant with laws and regulations.
Required:
- Final Italian Law Degree from a reputable University; preference will be given to candidates who have passed a bar examination.
- two to three years of professional experience, preferably gained at a professional law practice or in a multinational company in a similar role in Italian Law.
- sound knowledge of Italian administrative, civil and procedural law.
- excellent Italian speaking and writing skills; Advanced proficiency in English (knowledge of French is a plus).
- working knowledge of commonly used software suites.
Strong analytical skills, clarity of thought and expression, strong negotiation and relationship management skills, a keen customer focus, strong problem-solving abilities, and an ability to work in a team are also appreciated.

Il posto, con sede a Roma, ha un contratto di un anno. A seconda delle opportunit disponibili all''interno dell''ente, si potrebbe prendere in considerazione un contratto a tempo indeterminato dopo la conclusione del contratto di un anno.

Il/la candidato/a dovr:
-supportare il referente legale
-assicurare il reporting interno in merito al contenzioso;
-predisporre la documentazione di supporto agli organi decisionali della sede secondaria e centrali relativamente alle materie di competenza della sede secondaria;
-concorrere ad assicurare la correttezza formale e sostanziale di ogni atto legale connesso alloperativit della sede secondaria ai fini della relativa legittimit, validit ed efficacia.
