Roles and Tasks - Wash, mop, and clean thepool deck. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in allrecreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat andenthusiastic attitude. Observe activity in the recreationalfacility and respond appropriately in accordance with localoperating procedures in the event of an emergency. - Promote therules and regulations of the recreation facility. Be aware ofpossible situations where guests are not able to safely participatein an activity and inform the supervisor/manager. Provideassistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medicalservices. Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to companyprocedures. - Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe workconditions to the manager; complete safety training andcertifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensureuniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintainthe confidentiality of proprietary information; protect companyassets. - Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to companystandards; anticipate and address guests'' service needs; assistindividuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers. - Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g.,small print). Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g.,to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related informationusing computers and/or point-of-sale systems. - Move, lift, carry,push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects ofvarying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eyecoordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces aswell as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead andbelow the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, andstooping.
