Key Activities and Responsibilities - Coordinate andverify the design of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and AirConditioning) and Plumbing (potable water, condensate water, sewageand drainage) serving buildings. Lead the specialists of the otherbuilding design disciplines (civil, electrical,automation/instrumentation). - Guarantee the Building MechanicalSystemsdesign compliance to legislations, main internationalstandards (EN, NFPA, etc.) and contractual requirements, time andbudget. - Ensure coordination between the building designdisciplines using integrated building 3D BIM model. - PrepareMaterial Requisition (M.R.) for purchase of items and WorkRequisition (W.R.) to identify Subcontractors. - Carry out thetechnical tabulations of Vendors and Subcontractors. - VerifyVendors and Subcontractors design documents and data sheets. -Ensure support during construction, commissioning and testingactivities. - Participate, for the specific area of competence, tothe preparation/update of KT Standards/Procedures/WorkInstructions. - Keep himself/herself up to date with developmentsof technology, standards and legislations. Personal Attributes -Building/Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent. - Workexperience in HVAC, Plumbing and Building Design. - Similar rolecovered for at least five years. - Fluent English speaker andwriter. - Experience of working with Building and MEP (MechanicalElectrical and Plumbing) Subcontractors. - Knowledge of draftingtools (AutoCAD) and BIM Tools (REVIT, Navisworks) as well as ofHVAC and Plumbing main design software (CARRIER HAP, REVITintegrated softwares as MAGICAD). - Experience in HVAC &Plumbing for building in petrochemical and oil & gas plantswill be a plus. For example: control rooms, electrical substations,laboratories, administration buildings, process buildings/shelters(like pump house, compressor house). - Team-oriented,self-motivated with problem resolution, good interpersonal andcommunication skills. - Availability to travel for short and longperiod in Italy and abroad.
