Business Development LeadThe Business Development Lead will work with Local Markets to identify and shape Public Sector customer proposals to ensure success. This market-facing role aligns closely with the local Public Sector teams to understand customer challenges and develop commercial strategies for success. The role involves developing new business pipelines by building relationships and identifying opportunities in this high-growth segment. The candidate should be intellectually and technically curious, passionate about innovative solutions, and capable of promoting Vodafones Group product and solution portfolios.Key responsibilities include:Business Development Execution: Supporting customer bids, opportunity shaping, and business development efforts with the Public Sector Local Markets team. Supporting existing Public Sector customers to grow the adoption of Group products and solutions in Italy, Spain, and selected markets. Leading campaigns to develop new opportunities, generating leads, engaging decision-makers, and managing deal logistics. Maintaining knowledge of Group products through education and networking, and promoting awareness externally via demonstrations, talks, and conferences. Demonstrating Vodafones core behaviors with a focus on customer loyalty.Core competencies, knowledge, and experience required include:Strong commercial acumen in B2B and public sector procurement practices.Understanding of sales cycles and budgeting processes.Experience working within complex, matrix environments and with local markets or group functions.Experience managing complex sales and business engagement cycles, including long-term deal structuring.Ability to quickly understand customer information and influence multi-year strategies.Must-have qualifications:At least 5 years in a technical sales environment.Technical or Business degree or relevant certifications are helpful.Experience managing budgets.Key performance indicators include new business acquisition (TCV/AOV), market share growth, and win rate metrics.#J-18808-Ljbffr
