Be part of this exciting journey in Kuehne+Nagel logistics by applying now!Your RoleThe Contract Logistics Operations Manager will operate within Contract Logistics at the adidas Campus South warehouse in Mantua, supporting the Site Manager in planning, managing, organizing, and supervising all operational activities related to her/his department. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, proper goods workflow, space and equipment organization, and team management. The manager will serve as a role model in operations, safety, and HR topics.Your ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with System Management and Customer Service teams to implement warehouse strategies ensuring efficient goods workflow and business goals.Communicate logistics service plans to Shift and Team Leaders, support operational implementation, and uphold safety standards.Plan logistics services, optimize space utilization, and ensure safety and security of personnel, equipment, and property.Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, delivery, handling of goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to meet customer requirements and compliance standards.Establish and monitor KPIs, empower teams to meet targets, and recommend improvements to the Site Manager.Develop procedures for efficient operation and equipment utilization.Manage operations to respect P&L guidance and prevent costs losses.Lead by embodying company values, inspiring the team, and promoting diversity and employee engagement.Your Skills and Experiences2-5 years experience in large-scale (>300 FTE) automated fulfillment operations, preferably in eCommerce, Fashion, or Retail within multinational, matrix organizations.Strong analytical skills, safety compliance, and people engagement experience.Proven communication skills with stakeholders at all levels in fast-paced environments.Experience managing small to medium teams (20-50 people), focusing on development and engagement.Experience with P&L and budget management in automated warehouses.Deep understanding of safety as a fundamental priority in logistics environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
