You will report to the Director of Group Trade General Compliance and play a key role in ensuring Kubotas compliance with legal and regulatory requirements concerning Trade and Export, including sanctions. Your responsibilities include reviewing policies, optimizing processes, managing audits, and training employees to mitigate risks associated with trade and export activities. Responsibilities: Advise and support Kubota Holdings Europe BV and its affiliates on trade and export issues, coordinating with compliance teams and departments across the organization. Monitor updates from authorities like US OFAC, UN, Swiss SECO, UK OFSI, and the EU regarding sanctions and trade regulations. Map and assess business processes, identify risks, and implement remediation strategies. Participate in risk assessment, policy reviews, and process improvements. Prepare reports, recommend corrective actions, and validate issue resolutions, including sanctions against Russia. Contribute to the development of IT tools and compliance systems. Collaborate with compliance officers across units and local entities. Handle due diligence on third parties and respond to regulatory requests. Update trade and export programs to ensure legal compliance and minimize risk. Conduct audits and reviews to monitor compliance status. Serve as the first contact for sanctions breaches and provide advice on incidents. Respond to policy queries, manage exception requests, and produce compliance reports for management. Develop and deploy training and awareness programs on trade and export compliance. Coordinate projects with headquarters and document future legislative requirements. Draft and negotiate contractual terms related to trade and export. Manage external law firm collaborations when necessary. Address ad hoc compliance queries and prepare educational materials.
