Founded in Italy in 1961 and based in Rome, Telespazio employs over 3,000 staff across its subsidiaries and joint ventures.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesThe RF Systems Engineer will be part of the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department, focusing on supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration, and testing at the designated Ground Station facility. Key responsibilities include:Developing preliminary designs based on high-level requirements, typically during the bid phase to contribute to technical, management, and financial proposals.Creating detailed designs, defining system architecture, and specifying procurement requirements for subsystems and services.Managing procurement processes, including factory and on-site testing.Integrating subsystems into the overall system architecture and executing system, end-to-end, and onsite tests.Developing relevant documentation such as design documents, test plans, procedures, and reports.Overseeing project management tasks, including budget and schedule control.Required Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years'' experience in antenna and ground station equipment and subsystem design. A second-level Masters degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering is required.
