FunctieomschrijvingAs a Propulsion System Expert, you will provide vitaltechnical support for maintenance, troubleshooting, andenhancements of our fleet''s propulsion systems and relatedcomponents. You will create maintenance plans and work orders inour asset management system to ensure top-notch equipmentreliability. Main tasks andresponsibilities:
- Provide technicalsupport to internal stakeholders.
- Act as themain contact between suppliers, repair facilities, and internalstakeholders during work preparation.
- Stayupdated on new developments in propulsion for our vesseltypes.
- Establish maintenance standards forpropulsion equipment and relatedsystems.
- Develop cost-effective repairstandards for propulsion equipment and relatedsystems.
- Offer technical input for FMEA and RCAconducted by our Reliability department.
- Ensureall work preparations prioritizesafety.
Functie-eisenInorder to perform this role you willneed:
- Engineering degree inelectromechanics, maritime engineering, or a relatedfield.
- 5 years of experience in marinepropulsion systems and maintenance.
- Strongtechnical knowledge and background.
- Proactive,team-oriented, and an effectivecommunicator.
- Innovative andsolution-focused.
- Willing to travel abroad,with a work distribution of 80% at headquarters and 20% at vessellocations.
- Fluent in English, both spoken andwritten.
