MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Teach ESS in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and in the French Baccalaureate sections
- Leverage a variety of teaching approaches to deliver the curriculum, including ICT
- Act as a learning coach by setting objectives that motivate and challenge students
- Adapt teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, and to exam classes
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents about their childrens learning, achievements and progress
- Provide students with regular and constructive feedback, both orally and through accurate grading
PROFILE AND COMPETENCES :
- University degree in history, geography or economics
- Teaching qualification at graduate level or above
- Qualified IB ESS teacher
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least five years experience, ideally in an international school environment
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and team spirit
- Bilingual French & English a must
- Clean criminal records
- Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
