BU Grid Integration, HBU Europe is looking for a Risk Manager to lead the Risk Management and Risk Review process in strong collaboration with Sales & Tendering, Management of HBU Europe, and the Risk Management Function of Grid Integration.The Risk Manager will ensure that all risks related to customer offers of HBU Europe are identified, assessed, responded to, and mitigated. The HBU Risk Manager will represent HBU Europe in Risk Reviews and will be a member of the HBU Europe Controlling & Risk Management organization.The role''s location is flexible, ideally colocated with major HE locations in Europe.How youll make an impactEnsure that risks are identified and assessed in each tender, mitigation actions are defined, liabilities are appraised, and profitability is agreed based on the standard Full Cost Model.Review and validate offers prepared by the Sales team during Risk Review processes to ensure compliance with Group, Company, and BU directives and instructions.Attend and facilitate Risk Reviews with representatives from HBU, GPG, BU, and/or Company as per approval levels.Ensure that the Risk Review Tool is updated by the Tendering Team in a timely and diligent manner before and after meetings, with agreed MoM/actions.Prepare summaries of main contractual aspects and circulate them to Risk Review participants.Provide training and guidance on Risk Management to the Grid Integration HBU Europe organization.Actively contribute to providing a state-of-the-art Risk Management process for HBU Europe BU Grid Integration.Your background:Fluent in English (oral and written); additional languages are advantageous.Experience in Risk Management, Sales, Tendering, Project Management, or Contract Management.Experience in project business within an international company and customer interactions.Self-driven to secure risk mitigation and process compliance; capable of providing senior expert advice on key issues.Ability to provide feedback on Risk Management performance, focusing on process improvements.Proficient in delivering training to enhance process and tool knowledge, promoting risk awareness.Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams and HBU Leadership.High organizational skills with attention to detail and a strong process orientation.More about usWe offer the opportunity to work with talented colleagues on technically challenging projects that make a real impact.Job type: Full timeExperience: ExperiencedJob function: General ManagementContract: RegularPublication date: 2025-04-29Reference number: R0081879About Hitachi EnergyHitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future.
